CHELSEA ONE BEDROOM

CHELSEA ONE BEDROOM

CUSTOM CABINETRY & BATHROOM OF THE MONTH-ITS ALL IN THE DETAIL

THE CLIENTS LITTLE PRINCE WANTED A TRAIN BED SO WE CUSTOM DESIGNED THIS & IT DID MEET HIS APPROVAL!

LBDA WORKED WITH BROMLEY CALDARI ARCHITECTS ON THIS MASSIVE 650SQ FOOT BATHROOM.  THIS BATHROOM HAD AN UNLIMITED BUDGET & IT WAS AMAZING TO USE SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MATERIALS IN ONE SPACE.  THE TUB WAS CUSTOM MADE IN ITALY & THE CHANDELIER IS HAND SPUN FIBERGLASS.

LOVED SEEING THE THREE UNIQUE MATERIALS IN THIS SHOT- TEAK, PORCELAIN TILE, & AGGRESSIVELY VEINED MARBLE

BEAUTIFUL LAVENDER BATHROOM WITH PORCELAIN TILE & LACAVA VANITY, THE LIGHTING REALLY MADE THIS SPACE.

DESIGN ON A DIME FOR HOUSING WORKS- 2008-2011

LBDA PARTICIPATES EVERY YEAR IN DESIGN ON A DIME FOR HOUSING WORKS.  EVERY DESIGNER THAT PARTICIPATES GETS A FEW WEEKS TO GET DONATIONS FROM VENDORS & HAS TO PUT TOGETHER A 9'X10' SPACE WITH ALL THE DONATED PIECES.  MYSELF & MY TWO CO-WORKERS DO ALL THE GRUNT WORK. ON OPENING NIGHT PEOPLE PURCHASE ALL THE PIECES & ALL PROCEEDS GO TO HOUSING WORKS.  ITS SUCH AN HONOR TO BE A PART OF THIS EVERY YEAR!

SCUTTLEBUT FARM ROAD-BRIDGEHAMPTON HOME-GROUND UP CONSTRUCTION

LBDA WORKED WITH THE CLIENT THROUGH THE ENTIRE DESIGN PROCESS.  I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR SELECTING DRAWINGS IN AUTOCAD, DETAIL DRAWINGS, CUSTOM CABINETRY, FURNITURE, LIGHTING, & MATERIAL SELECTION.  IT WAS AN AMAZING LEARNING PROCESS & CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE FINAL PRODUCT.

RUSHMORE NYC APARTMENT SHOWHOUSE

LBDA HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DESIGN THREE ROOMS FOR AN APARTMENT SHOWHOUSE AT THE RUSHMORE NYC.

165 PERRY STREET-NYC

LBDA HAD AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE WORKING ON THIS SPACE.  THE CLIENT WAS VERY TRUSTING  & WE WERE REALLY ABLE TO HAVE FUN WITH THIS SECOND HOME.  THE QUIRKY DETAILS MAKE THIS APARTMENT ONE A KIND & MY FAVORITE SPACE.

A BARN DOOR ADDED A FUN ASPECT TO THIS NYC LOFT.  THE INSIDE OF THE CLOSET WAS PAINTED LIME GREEN & WHEN THE LIGHT WAS ON, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE DOOR & WALLCOVERING ILLUMINATED.

BEFORE

WHAT WAS ONCE A DARK, DISMAL AREA WAS TRANSFORMED INTO A BRIGHT MULTI-FUNCTION SPACE.

A METALLIC SCREEN WAS USED TO SEPARATE THE DINING AREA FROM THE KITCHEN.  A STRUCTURAL COLUMN WAS TEXTURIZED BY BEING WRAPPING IT IN NYLON ROPE.

CUT OUT DRAPERIES WERE INSTALLED WITH LIGHTING BEHIND THEM TO CREATE THE ILLUSION OF A BRIGHT EXTERIOR.

A CRISP IMAGE OF GRASS WAS CREATED ON CANVAS.  THIS WAS AN INEXPENSIVE WAY TO DECORATE THE SPACE.

THE KITCHEN REALLY NEEDED TO BE RENOVATED BUT BECAUSE OF BUDGET WE HAD TO FIND AN ALTERNATE INEXPENSIVE WAY TO DESIGN IT.  WE INSTALLED AN IKEA KITCHEN & WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS!

AMAZING SPACE SAVERS WERE USED IN THE GUEST ROOM/OFFICE.

A TROUGH SINK WAS PLACED ON TOP OF AN INDUSTRIAL METRO-CART WHICH CREATED AN OPENNESS IN THIS SMALL SPACE.

THE MASTER BEDROOM HAD A RED BRICK WALL THAT WAS WASHED IN LIGHT GREY WHICH SOFTENED THIS SPACE.
